HR Assistant
Pasadena, CA Temporary $21.00 - $25.00/hr Onsite

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support daily human resources operations. This role plays an essential part in ensuring smooth processes, positive employee experiences, and efficient administrative support across the HR function. Pay range: $21-25 DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation and coordinating new-hire orientation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support payroll and benefits administration, including data entry, audits, and employee questions
  • Help coordinate training sessions, HR meetings, and employee engagement events
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Post job positions, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and support recruitment processes
  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and communications
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and updating HR systems

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
